Effortlessly sophisticated interiors with an unrelenting touch of the unexpected
Led by principal designer and founder Aaron Wong
Our designs have been edited, clarified, and strengthened with unique materials and palettes to achieve a voice and aesthetic unique to Alexander Pollock.

With this fresh approach, the point of view is contemporary while still respecting the trail blazers of the past.
We use pieces of all periods and origins alongside modern artworks, custom made furniture, and exceptional textiles to create dynamic interiors that are complex and layered, always comfortable and never overly formal.
Self-taught, Aaron has achieved a body of work that has garnered recognition from major industry bodies within a brief space of time. The Melbourne based designer has built a solid reputation as a highly versatile interior designer whose work is custom tailored to the needs of each client and project.

What we do
Whether it is one room or a whole house, it has to work functionally and aesthetically.
The rooms themselves. Interior design is the structure of a home: how the kitchen is built, how a bathroom is laid out, what the walls, floors and surfaces are made of, and how you move from one room into the next.
- Interior architecture & room planning
- The concept shown to you in 3D
- Drawings your builder builds from

The layout, cabinetry, benchtops, tapware, tiles and hardware are resolved as one piece, as part of the interior design of the house.
- Layout, cabinetry & integrated appliances
- Real stone, never imitation
- Modelled in 3D before anything is ordered

The furniture, the lighting, the curtains, the artwork. Decoration is where a room comes alive. Pieces from different eras, layered so each one holds its own, installed and styled before you move in.
- Furniture, lighting, curtains & artwork
- Sourced internationally
- Delivered, installed & styled

A wall is cheaper to move on paper. Before a house is built, we read the architect’s plans and mark what will not work once the house is lived in.
- Feedback on the architect’s plans
- Best before construction starts
- Avoids the expensive mistakes

Our process
Every project follows the same seven steps, and the design is estimated in three stages, so you always know what is included.
Consultation
It starts with a conversation and your plans. We read the architect’s drawings, mark what will not work once the house is lived in, and learn how you live and what you want. Budget is discussed openly.
Concept
This is where the house is decided. We set the direction for the interior architecture, sketch the first ideas for each room and bring together the palette and materials. Real materials only, nothing imitation.
Space planning
Each room is planned for its proportions and how you move from one into the next. The kitchen and bathrooms are laid out with their cabinetry, benchtops, tapware and tiles, resolved as one piece.
Design development
Then the detail. Every finish is chosen for durability as much as for how it looks, and warm metals sit beside cool ones so the house feels gathered over time.
Visualisation
Before anything is ordered or built, the whole house is modelled in 3D. You see the rooms, the materials and the finishes as they will be, so the concept can be approved with nothing left to guess.
Documentation & build
The approved concept becomes the technical drawings your builder or contractor quotes on and builds from. Project management is optional, part time or full time.
Styling
Furniture, lighting, curtains and artwork, down to the bedding and the smallest objects, sourced from artisans and suppliers around the world, delivered, installed and styled before you move in.
